The most defining moment in anyone’s life is a personal decision to accept Christ as our personal savior. The Bible tells us that our greatest need is not simply guidance in life; it’s a relationship with God.
Let’s talk about faith.
Faith is a strange thing, but a simple thing. Faith is a strong believe or trust in someone or something, accepting as true and continuing to believe in, trust, or support someone or something when it is difficult to do so. You have faith when you get in your car, it will start. You have faith, when you get on an airplane. Even though you don’t know the pilot you have faith he can fly and really important, land a plane. We all have at one time put a lot faith into our doctors. So faith is something you step out on, like a bridge over a raging river.
Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price and penalty for our sins by dying on the cross. After 3 days, He rose from the dead and is now preparing a place for those who put their FAITH in Him. If you do that, you will become a child of the living God and an heir of eternal life. As a suggestion, pray something like this:
Lord, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He came and died to pay the penalty for the sins I have committed. I ask You to forgive me, and give me the gift of eternal life you promised. Come into my life, and cause me to be born again. AMEN! – John 3:16-17
